The removed aerial

In order to find out the type of the connector, the salesman has removed my aerial and finished in this way my important telephone call.

1994-10-21:

It is just the UTEC absorga in Vienna. The world greatest fair about environment technics. I exhibit there my GEMINI project. I drive in the morning with my bicycle from my old aunt to the fair.

Suddenly I see a special shop for aerials, wires and connectors. I want to mount the aerial from my GSM mobile telephone at an other place, but I was not able to find in Salzburg the proper parts.

I enter the shop and put my Back Pack on the ground. My GSM mobile telephone is built into the Back Pack. I explain the salesman what parts I need.

Suddenly my telephone rings. It is Mag.Roland Maier from the Austrian ministry for environment and family.

RM: Great, I didn't think, that I will ever get a telephone call from Austrian ministry for environment and family!

The connections drops out. What happens? A very important telephone call finished by technical problems. In this moment the salesman stands up with the aerial in his hand.

Salesman: What You need is a coaxial type c connector.

In order to find out the type of the connector, the salesman has removed my aerial and finished in this way my important telephone call.
